Or would he rather see that money used to help the suffering of so many of his creations. Why can’t they meet in more humble surroundings, why the expensive statues (or graven images), why all the gold color, whats with the stained glass. Is god really impressed by this stuff?

The pastor said that divorce is a sin. If my ex walked away from our marriage even after counseling, am I stained by this sin? We will never reconcile, he got married last month, so how can God forgive “my” sin?
