When you did the ragging technique for the faux finish did you rinse or just let it dry and then apply sealer? I faux finish walls and would like to try this in my own family room floor.

Hi, after Step 4 when you put the 50% diluted stain on with a rag…did you just let it dry before you went onto step 5? Or did you have to neutralize it, and mop/wet vac it up?
I really like the outcome of this floor. And I’m thinking I want something similar for my house :)
    thanks!

This is a two to four day project, depending on the size of the floor. You can get all the prep and staining done in one long day, but the floor needs plenty of time to dry before sealer can be applied.

How long did this take you? Is this an all day project or an all week project? I’m thinking of doing my downstairs like this with slightly different colors.
