stained glass, what type of saw works best without breaking the bank?

I have a shaky hand that won’t allow me to use a hand cutter, but I think I can use a saw. What kind or type of saw works well on stained glass.

None, the glass would break even using water to cool it and a lot of pieces are small. If you need to cut compound curves, make a templet out of card board and follow edge. For straight cuts, use a straight edge and hold in place with rubber tipped clamps.

Glass cutters can be hard to use and get used to .Find some old window glass to practice with.2 ways to use a cutter is put index finger on cutter with end between thumb and finger or with handle between first 2 fingers.

A tip to stop hot cuts is dip cutter wheel in motor oil then cut and you should break in a cutter by making some cuts on a scrap of glass.

go to http://www.kingsleynorth.com and take a look at their ring saws. that’s what they are designed for.
